July 15 - Kingston Street Railway starts operations.

May 21 - System renamed Kingston, Portsmouth & Cataraqui Street Railway.

April 16 - System renamed Kingston, Portsmouth & Cataraqui Electric Railway.

January 13 - An early morning fire at the carbarn destroys one car and severaly damages another.
1910
April 22 - A collision between a Kingston & Pembroke train, and streetcar 13 at the Montreal Street crossing.

March 1 - An early morning fire destroys the carbarn and all but one of the streetcars.
March 5 - Kingston City Service, a temporary bus service, is started by Colonial Coach Lines.
July 1 - Kingston City Coach Company Limited begins operating the city's bus service.
1951
October 1 - Colonial Coach Lines withdraws from Kingston City Coach, leaving the city to operate the system
1953
April 13 - Colonial Coach Lines resumes operation of Kingston City Coach.
1961
November 1 - Kingston City Coach gives six months notice to terminate the contract, effective May 1, 1962.

July 1 - Kingston Public Transit System takes over operation of the city's transit system.

September 30 - Dial-A-Bus service is started. Kingston Public Transit System is renamed Kingston Transit.

March 3 - Kingston Township Transit starts operation.

September 8 - Ernestown Township Transit starts operation.

January 1 - Amalgamation of Kingston Township Transit into Kingston Transit.

September 4 - Kingston Transit starts its Express services.
